Another levy in my life
Electricity Levy
I just got an email recently telling my about the new levy in Ireland. Yes, I know another one. This time is an “Electricity levy” created to rise money, 156 million euro, “… in order to improve the security of energy supply and for the development of renewable energy.”
What? I though the security of energy supply was done by the electricity companies. And the renewable energy! it seems like the Government was not doing the very well the numbers and it needs more money. Shame!
Another bad news, the first one was about the mortgages (that even is a double shame, not just they took our money through the “bail out” now they need more from us) and now the electricity levy. So, it seems like we have to deal with another levy… Good night all!
